• Module EU-100 (volume 100 m³) is designed for medical and scientific research.
  
  
  
  
  

• Module EU-50 (50 m³) is utilized as a dummy copy of a landing ship for landing on Mars where 3 crew members will live for about 30 days on the “planet surface”.
  
  
  
  
  

• Module EU-250 (working module, 250 m³) is shaped as a narrow horizontally positioned cylinder made of stainless steel. It contains an experimental greenhouse, small gym (4 m³), sanitary compartment and a food storage room.
  
  
  
  

• Module EU-150 (residential module, 150 m³), which contains the cabins of the commander and crew members, lounge, kitchen, main control station, bathroom and a connecting passageway.
  
  
  
  

• With a stairway and a sealed passage cabin, a light non-hermetic inflatable module is attached to the module EU-50; inside it, the conditions on the Martian surface are simulated. Two Orlan spacesuits form a part of the equipment.
  
  
  

A large number of the systems providing life support for the crew is positioned outside of the modules, yet their direct and/or simulated monitoring and control by the crew is enabled. To reduce the fire hazard, there is an oxygen-argon atmosphere inside the modules.
